It’s been a talk of the town for the past month or so; the ongoing issues concerning Apple and Stadia/Game Pass on iOS devices.
Whilst we can’t speak for the former, the latter seems positive on its future presence in Apple’s ecosystem.
Recently, Phil Spencer spoke to Xbox employees how Xbox is planning on brining Game Pass to iOS devices;
“We absolutely will end up on iOS…We’ll end up on iPhones, and iPads, with Game Pass”.Business Insider
It might sound like wishful bragging, but it seems Big Phil has a plan in play. As opposed to a standard, app-supported launch on the App Store, Game Pass would be ushered out using a “direct browser-based solution”.
This might sound like techno-hogwash, however, it seems to be big-tech’s go-to solution for this issue. Amazon has also announced the same procedure will be used for its own streaming service, Luna.
We’ll wait and see how this pans out, but it should be good news for any Apple users out there.
