With the recent announcement that PlayStation would be missing E3 this year, you’d think Xbox would take advantage somehow.
And you’d be right. Xbox Chief Phil Spencer took to Twitter to confirm that Xbox would indeed be present at the event. Big Phil tweeted saying;
“Our team is hard at work on E3, we look forward to sharing with all who love to play what’s ahead for us. Our artform has consistently been propelled by the cross-section of creativity and technical progress. 2020 is a milestone year in that journey for Team Xbox”.
Xbox will be able to showcase a lot more this year without their primary rivals attending. Chief among these reveals will likely be hands-on experiences with Xbox Series X.
The question as to whether or not E3 is still necessary is up for debate. For now, Xbox looks set to “win” the event this year!
