Xbox Friends and Family Game Pass Starts Rollout

Xbox Friends and Family Game Pass Starts Rollout

The Xbox friends and family Game Pass has launched in Ireland and Columbia, suggesting the start of a global rollout for this family friendly pass.

Following an initial Xbox Insider preview launch, players in Ireland and Columbia can now sign up for the new Game Pass which gives them one membership with five individual memberships. Meaning that a family, a group of friends, or a mix of the two can share one Xbox Game Pass for one monthly price of €21.99 (Ireland) or 49,900 Col$ (Colombia). Whilst this is slightly more expensive than the current Ultimate plan, when spilt across the family or a group of friends, there’s a saving possible.

This Game Pass comes with all the perks of the Ultimate plan such as access to over 100 individual titles, EA Play membership as standard, and all the online play functionality you’d expect with any online gaming plan.

The Ultimate plan also comes with a cloud gaming Beta whereby players can use a cloud gaming compatible device, such as the rumoured Logitech G handheld console connected to a controller to take advantage of the game catalogue.

Already a Game Pass member? The remaining time on your subscription will be converted to the new pass subject to the version you have. So, what’s stopping you from getting family and friends together to game? Beats family movie night…
