X019 – Any Button Gaming’s Roundup of the Biggest Announcements

Xbox’s massive livestream event – X019 London – occurred last night (14th November at 8 pm GMT). It was headed up by some of the biggest names working within Xbox, the event showcased the biggest announcements coming to the console this year. There were plenty of surprises from beginning to end, and just as much to look forward to. Now, we won’t necessarily have too much information on each game, but whatever is available at the time of press, we will present to you here. Also, whilst we’ve tried to keep them in the order they appeared, we cannot guarantee they are as they appeared in the live stream. So, without further ado, let’s recap some of the biggest announcements made;

First off was Rare’s newest IP; Everwild. It’s a beautifully rendered, fantasy-realm.

Introducing EVERWILD, a brand new IP from Rare. Unique and unforgettable experiences await in a natural and magical world.

With none other than Ron Perlman in the lead role, West of Dead is a twin-stick shooter with a definitive Ghost Rider vibe to it. The open Beta is already available and free to play, so what’s not to love about it. And, again, it’s got Ron Perlman in it!

Project xCloud

Perhaps in a way to take some of Google’s spotlight away with the Stadia, Xbox also announced Project xCloud. A streaming service which allows you to play Xbox One games on your smartphone or tablet, you’ll have access to over 50 games when the service goes live. For more information, and how to sign up to the service, check out Project xCloud’s website.
