WWE 2K19 Skipping Nintendo Switch

It’s fair to say the launch of WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Switch was a catastrophe. One which saw the game launch two months after the initial release date, and then received massive backlash from fans, mainly due to the games extremely poor graphics and slow run time. This negative response has led to the game’s sequel, WWE 2K19, only being developed for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. During a recent interview Take-Two said the following:

“The game will not be available on Nintendo Switch. 2K is focused on making the best possible experience for WWE 2K fans and will continue evaluating all opportunities to deliver the franchise across additional platforms.”

As the game is being hailed as the worst conversion to ever be made for the switch. Also one of the worst switch games ever made, I personally don’t see the game ever being developed. Even with the history of WWE trying to find all manner of different ways to make more money, one cannot think this would be a profitable move for WWE. If it was released for the switch, the bad taste that was left in the people who bought it to enjoy and not to review would almost guarantee the game would fail.
