Wildfire coming to a Console Near You

Wildfire coming to a Console Near You

Wildfire is 2D platformer which first appeared back in May on PC via Steam and the Humble Store. Developer Sneaky Bastards and publisher Humble Games have announced that the stealth game will launch on console too.

In Wildfire, you will play a hero who has been labelled a witch for using elemental powers in a medieval world. The evil forces and armies of the Arch Duchess have been sent to hunt you down. By using stealth and various combat mechanics, you must embark on freeing the villagers from imprisonment and fight to restore the safety of your home. The ability to control fire, water, and earth makes you a formidable foe to enemies, and the further you travel, the stronger your powers will grow.

Key Features

  • Manipulate Your Environment. Use fireballs to set the world ablaze, freeze water to cross impassable lakes or trap your enemies in ice, and move earth itself to grow grass to hide in or vines to climb.
  • Master the Elements. You’ll learn new abilities as your connection to the elements grow, but beware; fire will spread and consume everything in its path – including you!
  • Outsmart Your Enemies. Use the environment to your advantage as you evade and engage the Arch Duchess’ forces, intelligent enemies that work together to hunt you down.
  • Burn the World…With a Friend. Play solo or have a friend join you, wielding your elemental powers in tandem, creating new ways through Wildfire’s dense, systemic environment.

Wildfire first launched for PC via Steam and the Humble Store on May 26, 2020. It will be released for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on December 3rd, 2020.
