Deathloop has been out for a while by now and if you’ve played it I’m sure you can agree that Arkane’s latest game does have some whacky ol’ guns to aid in bereaving murderous cultists of their lives. A man named Jonathan Ferguson is inclined to agree with this. Ferguson is a firearms expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum. He is also the mastermind behind the YouTube channel Royal Armouries. So, it’s safe to say that he knows what he’s talking about.
Jonathan recently teamed up with Gamespot where he reacts to some of the more absurd weapons in Deathloop. In the video, we watch Jonathan attempting to explain some of Deathloop’s bizarre boomsticks with impressively articulate knowledge of historic weaponry just while the life slowly drain from his eyes as a twin set of pistols transforms into a submachine gun or when a lever-action shotgun that shoots glass jars full of flammable gas just to detonate it seconds later?
