Ubisoft Is Working On Several Different Assassin’s Creed Projects

During last weekend’s Ubisoft Forward the french giant revealed not one, not two, but four entirely new Assassin’s Creed titles. The first game and the one we know most about is Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Assassin’s Creed: Mirage takes place us Baghdad where we’ll play as a young Basim, first introduced in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Ubisoft released a trailer showing us Basim going from a thief, stealing in the market, before being saved by another assassin and eventually joining the brotherhood. You can check out the entire announcement trailer here.

The next game on the list is codenamed Assassin’s Creed: Hexe and reportedly takes place in 16th century Europe, during the witch hunt era. Judging by the trailer it will be the darkest Assassin’s Creed to date. It’s going to be very interesting to see what Ubisoft Montreal does with this title.

The next elusive stab ’em up is titled Assassin’s Creed: Red. Codename Red finally takes us to Japan, fulfilling players’ wishes from the last decade. We know little more than the Japanese setting and the fact that based on the above image, from Codename Red, we may see a female protagonist, however, it is also possible that we’ll get to pick our gender similar to Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed: Jade is the final title on our list. Jade is set in China and is a stand-alone free-to-play mobile RPG action adventure where you play through a unique storyline and make your own character.
