Streamer-karaoke game Twitch Sings is closing down on 1st January 2021, it has emerged.

Developed by Harmonix [yes, that Harmonix], launched in 2018.

Twitch published a blog post on the update, stating;

“As we look to the future, we have decided to invest in broader tools and services that will help support and grow the entire music community on Twitch. Because of this, we have made the difficult decision to close Twitch Sings on January 1, 2021″.

As it turns out, Twitch Sings will start having its Sings videos and clips – which are created by streamers and their audiences – removed from 1st December.

From there, the game will close down completely on 1st January 2021. Any on-demand content still remaining will be removed.
