Activision itself has finally teased the train we all already believed to be coming to the Warzone. According to FaZe clan streamer Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff’s Twitch stream, the train is coming to Call of Duty: Warzone. The streamer was sent a package from Activision, including a clip teasing the upcoming season. The clip appears to show a manned train blast its horn at a passing helicopter in Verdansk, Warzone’s only map.
NICKMERCS’s video also includes the date 5th August, which was the speculated start date of the game’s fifth season.
Today, yet another tease dropped via one of Activision’s trusted CoD streamers. This time Tyler Polchow received a package, one including the below video that originally aired during his Twitch stream.
The video appears to show the inside of Verdansk’s stadium caught in the shockwave of an explosion. We already know nukes have been found in mysterious bunkers around Verdansk. Now some players are speculating that this shockwave could be nuclear in origin. What this means for the map remains to be seen. However, the most likely meaning is that the stadium will now be open for business.
We’ve now seen two videos distributed to streamers in as many days. So expect the teasers to continue dropping until season five launches early next month.
