The Creative Assembly has announced that Total War: SHOGUN 2 is free-to-keep this week.
Starting from Monday 27th April at 6 pm BST until Friday 1st May at 6 pm BST, you can download the game for free. And, as you may have already read, keep it forever.
Ella McConnell of The Creative Assembly said this random act of generosity was because:
“The past few weeks have presented unimaginable challenges for many of us. The remarkable collective effort being made by the global community to overcome this moment of adversity has been truly inspirational.
With this in mind, we want to continue to encourage you all to stay home and save lives by extending a gift to everyone to help make this difficult situation a little bit easier.
Everyone at Creative Assembly is now working from home, and we hope that this will help everyone with that stay home mission”.
However, it isn’t just SHOGUN that is on sale this week. “Selected historical Total War games and DLC” will also be on offer.
Please note that the following are not included in the sale:
- Total War: Three Kingdoms
- ROME: Total War
- Total War: Warhammer
- All associated DLC
SHOGUN 2 will be added to the company’s sale at 75% off its usual retail price after 1st May (at 6 pm BST).
