The Outer Worlds Switch Release Date *Kind Of* Revealed

The release date for The Outer Worlds’ Nintendo Switch has been confirmed. Publisher Private Division – a subsidiary of Take-Two – announced that the Switch port would be dropping during its 2020 fiscal year. This means the game will be available before 31st March 2020.

Whilst we already knew that a Switch port would be coming, there wasn’t a confirmed release date. As is quite often the case with Switch ports, there don’t often come the same time as the console or PC releases. Virtuos is handling the Switch port. You may know Virtuos as the company who previously tackled the LA Noire and Dark Souls remasters.

Plus, how genuinely excited and passionate does Matthew Singh (Senior Producer for Obsidian Entertainment) seem in The Outer Worlds? What a breath of fresh air. A game to be enjoyed by a developer not just because it’ll make them money.
