The 1980s have come to Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops Cold War today following the Season 3 Reloaded update.
Announced with a slick trailer that features Rambo and Nakatomi Plaza (from Die Hard, if you weren’t sure), we also got a glimpse of several new features that are bundled with the update. Take a look below!
The ‘Action Hero’ event went live today and gives you the chance to either play as Rambo or John McClaine… but only if you buy the cosmetic bundles. The Broadcast Tower has been replaced with the iconic Nakatomi Plaza which houses multiple optional missions, which include defusing C4 on the roof, exploring the tower for supply boxes and even interrupting an arms deal. You can also have a go at cracking the vault and escaping with its riches, but expect loads of players to be looking for the keys
Happy trails Hans…
A new mode called ‘Power Grab’ features a smaller inner circle collapse and then splits into five different stages once the initial collapse has run its course. However this time, there is no Gulag meaning once you die, you’re out! The only way to be brought back is either by your teammates at a Buy Station or collect enough dog tags to rise up the reward ladder and gain access to respawn tokens.
Meanwhile the traditional multiplayer is getting a new map, as is multi-team. Zombies is getting a new main quest, another limited-time mode and an all new world event.
However, this update ain’t small for either game. For Call of Duty: Warzone its 14.6 GB for both PS4 and PS5 users, 15.2 GB for Xbox Series X/S and One users while for PC its 14.9 GB (Warzone only or 18.1 GB (Warzone and Modern Warfare
