Crystals and Warriors of Light

The trailer gives us a lot of story information to go through, as well as revealing Jack’s second name as Garland, which of course hints at his future in the franchise. Retelling the story of the original Final Fantasy from 1987 was never going to be an easy task but the music of Frank Sinatra, yes Frank Sinatra, singing My Way adds some levity to the trailer.

A wedding, a boss who summons skeletons and a dramatic walk through a field as Frank sings, what more could you want from a trailer? Balloons maybe, but what isn’t better with balloons?

There is one thing I can think of that’s better, a gameplay trailer!

Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin – Gameplay Features Trailer

Customisation in Cornelia

The gameplay features trailer shows so much, it can be a lot to take in. Varied locations, impressive skills and more loot than Zidane could swipe in a day.

The job system looks interesting as well as the command and combos abilities. Jobs include the Swordsman, Lancer, Duelist, Ronin, Mage, Swordfighter, Marauder and Pugilist.

With a more in-depth look at the Job Tree where you can spend your points on upgrading your buffs and abilities, as well as a glance at Job Affinity on items you can match to your current job for a bonus.

There’s a big push toward multiplayer for Stranger of Paradise with the ability to team up with friends and take on special dungeons, raids and endgame game content available, with individual loot keeping co-op civil.

The amount of customisation looks great, between equipment, abilities and combos you really can create your own personalised Warrior of Light.
