Steam Hosting Another Edition of Their Game Festival

The fourth rendition of Valve’s seasonal event boasts hundreds of demos, alongside developer interviews and livestreams

Autumn is upon us and with it another installment of Steam’s Game Festival. The event, titled Game Festival: Autumn Edition, is a chance for developers to show off their games and for players to try those games out.

This marks Steam’s fourth Game Festival in a year. Until now, each event came with more developers streaming and more demos on offer. This time is no different. The streaming schedule is packed and the demos plentiful.

You need to be quick though. Most demos on offer are only playable during the festival. The event runs from October 7th to October 13th. During that time you will also be able to go to the event’s page to catch up on the developer livestreams and interviews.

The current situation of the world opened many eyes to the possibility of virtual gaming events. It seems as if Valve is taking this opportunity seriously, with this ever-growing event. What are your thoughts on this type of event? Do you miss watching streams of the packed halls (or maybe even attending)? Or is this the future of the gaming world? Let us know in the comments!
