Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Orange Lightsabers Available and Photo Mode Nerfed

A massive hit with the ABG gang, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has two bits of interesting news for you today.

Firstly, some pre-order bonuses are now readily available for everybody – even those who didn’t fork over the extra ahead of release. It might not seem like a lot though when you consider the only “bonuses” received were customisation ones.

Regardless, Fallen Order players now have access to a number of new customisation options. Amongst the several new options is the quaint choice to make your Lightsaber blade orange in colour. Much like Plo Koon and Master Yaddle used in non-canon appearances.

Aside from the orange-hued blade, the following bonuses have also been unlocked;

  • Mygeeto Campaign Lightsaber Hilt
  • Umbaran Campaign Lightsaber Hilt
  • Gold Squadron Stinger Mantis skin
  • Bee-D-1 skin

Fear, not anybody who pre-ordered Fallen Order, you still have exclusive bonuses that us lowly mortals do not possess. Yet.

And Then…

The second piece of Fallen Order news is slightly more bizarre than the previous.

The 11th December patch brought with it a new photo mode. Which, for budding photographers working in a Galaxy Far Far Away was great. However, it proved to be a highly useful gadget in the hands of the most cunning Jedi. For some unbeknownst reason, the photo could actually destroy rockets that had been launched at Cal.

Because that’s exactly how a non-diegetic camera works, of course.

Sadly though, Respawn has since patched this “glitch” out. Taking to Reddit to explain the patch notes, an EA Community Manager stated;

“Not only was the Photomode camera able to explode rockets, it could interact with trigger volumes within the levels that could potentially break the game. We’ve fixed this to ensure that you can continue playing the game after using Photomode. Unfortunately, this also means that rockets will be unaffected by the camera moving forward“.
