Google has recently announced 16 new games will launch on Stadia.
Five of these titles will be Stadia-exclusive games – dubbed “Only on Stadia” games.
One such exclusive, Outcasters, comes from Splash Damage. You may know of Splash Damage from their previous games, Gears Tactics and Brink. Outcasters is an online multiplayer/top-down shooter. The gimmick here being that you can perform trick-shots to take out enemies.
The other (timed) exclusive is Robot Entertainment’s Orcs Must Die! 3. A 3D, highly-customisable tower-defence game where you, funnily enough, have to kill a load of Orcs.
The other titles have not yet been revealed. However we do know the studios brought in to create the titles; Harmonix (Rock Band), Uppercut Games (City of Brass), and Supermassive Games (Until Dawn).
Aside from the Stadia exclusives, the other games headed to the streaming platform include;
- Mafia II: Remastered
- Mafia III: Remastered
- PGA Tour 2K21
- WWE 2K Battlegrounds
- NBA 2K21
- Super Bomberman R Online
- Dead By Daylight
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Stonethorn
- Serious Sam 4
- Hello Neighbor
- Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek
- One Hand Clapping
- SEKIRO: Shadows Die Twice
- PUBG: Season 8
- Hitman Trilogy (Hitman 2016, Hitman 2, and the to-be-released Hitman 3)
So, are any of these games intriguing enough for you to pick up Stadia? Or is Google still trying to flog the proverbial? Check out the most recent Stadia Connect (14th July 2020) for the full Stadia showcase.
