Splinter Cell-Anime Coming To Netflix

There hasn’t been much info about Ubisoft’s favorite, gruff-voiced hide-and-seek champion lately. The only piece of noteworthy news is Sam Fisher’s Italian Voice Actor, Luca Ward, accidentally hinting about a new Splinter Cell game.

Variety reports that Ubisoft and Netflix are teaming up to create an anime-series based on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell-universe. Two seasons are already confirmed, with a total of 16 episodes combined. Also worth noting is that Derek Kolstad is writing and producing the show. Kolstad is most known for writing the John Wick film franchise.

Considering the success Netflix has had with previous video-game adaptations, (Castlevania, The Witcher), it comes to no-one’s surprise that they are continuing down the same path.
