Solasta: Crown of the Magister Leaving Early Access

Solasta: Crown of the Magister Leaving Early Access

Last week a new Developer Update was posted on the Steam page of Solaste: Crown of the Magister. The update includes, aside from a picture of a cat cuddled in its bed, the announcement that the next update for the game will bring with it version 1.0. This means that Solasta, which released to early access on October 2020, will finally see its full release.

The previous update to the game introduced a slew of new features. Among these are new spells, skills, and side-quests. Additionally, the spring update also brought with it the beta for the Dungeon Maker. Dungeon Maker is a tool that allows players to create their own maps for use in the game (or on their homebrew adventures).

Use 5e rules to vanquish your foes

With version 1.0 of the game, players can expect to see the following changes:

  1. The full campaign of Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
  2. Additional side quests.
  3. Full orchestral OST.
  4. An increase of the max level cap from 8 to 10, with level 5 spells.
  5. An update to the Dungeon Maker Beta.
  6. Steam Workshop implementation to make Custom Dungeon sharing easier.
  7. Digital Kickstarter Rewards for Backers.
  8. Supporter Pack Digital Rewards (special dice).

There is no set date for the full release just yet. However, you can read more about the full release, and some info about fixes to the spring update, in the steam post here. Also, you can check out our review of Solasta: Crown of the Magister’s early access here.
