For those of you who are fans of Megacrit’s Slay the Spire you may be in luck. No sequel announcements I’m afraid, however there is now a Kickstarter listing for a board game adaptation. Contention Games are in line to adapt the popular card game. As of yet we know little more than a cover and that we’ll know more in spring 2021. The game (if funded) will be 1 – 4 players and will be a ‘cooperative deckbuilding adventure’. Adding a cooperative element to that seen in the original game. As fans of the video game we’re looking forward to seeing what it plays like and how it might differ.
