Popular streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has spoken about Cyberpunk 2077.
Following all of the fall out of the game, it’s already reached fever-pitch for some fans.
However, it appears as though Shroud is not included in that group.
Speaking in a recent stream, Shroud stated;
“I am excited to see what [CD Projekt Red] definition of next-gen is [CDPR has previously stated that Cyberpunk will represent what the studio believes ‘next-gen’ gaming will be like], that’s what I am really excited for. Like yeah, the game is going to be really cool, but I really want to know whether they are actually going to revolutionise and be truly ‘next-gen’. We will see…
Cyberpunk will die in a month? I hope so. I hope it’s not larger than a month. It’s a fucking single-player game. I don’t want to be spending fucking my whole life in here. I wanna be spending just enough time and then get out, you know?”
Of course, this isn’t a thought shared unanimously by gamers. And, contrary to Shroud’s comments, most true gamers actually want more single-player games. And, when you consider that CDPR’s last game, The Witcher 3, is still being played five years later, there’s probably a good chance Cyberpunk will be around for a while.
