SEGA has announced that the much loved RTS franchise, Company of Heroes is back, and this time we’re heading to the Mediterranean.
Company of Heroes 3 takes you to a whole new theatre of war, brimming with new tactics and factions. From the arid deserts of North Africa to the windswept mountains of Italy, this time intelligence over brawn takes centre stage, as you’ll have to figure out the best way to outflank and outmanoeuvre your enemy. Take a look at the reveal trailer below.
Made with Relic’s new engine, the Essence Engine 5, Company of Heroes 3 offers players an in-depth tactical experience. With a dynamic campaign map, players will be able to direct all areas of their Army, Navy, and Air Force while also trying to keep their supply chain intact. Remember any decision you make will be for the long term and will affect not only the outcomes of your battles but the history of the war itself.
Will history be on your side?
The single-player mode also offers full tactical pause for absolute control over skirmishes. . If you choose to freeze the action, you’ll be able to coordinate all your strategies at the same time without the instant pressure of real-time.
The game itself is slated to release in 2022, HOWEVER, if you can’t wait to play the game, you can access the pre-alpha over on the official Company of Heroes website!
