October is a big month for horror games, and one of the biggest horror titles this month so far has been Remothered: Broken Porcelain. It is a sequel to Remothered: Tormented Fathers, and serves in a way as a successor to the classic Clock Tower survival-horror series.

In Remothered: Broken Porcelain you play as 15 year old Jennifer. A young maid at the Ashmann Inn who’s begun to discover the true horrors that go on behind closed doors. In typical survival-horror fashion, you have to solve a variety of puzzles, while avoiding vicious enemies that aim to kill you in gruesome ways.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain is a game about avoiding the threat rather than taking it head on. Stealth, hide and seek, and distraction are all core mechanics. The true terror is often the anticipation of threat rather than the danger itself.

It is written and directed by the Italian video game artist and director Chris Darril. Developed by Italian studio Stormind Games and published by Modus Games.  Remothered: Broken Porcelain is available on: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows and was released on October 13, 2020
