Remedy has recently announced it is to release a sequel to acclaimed sci-fi action-shooter Control.
The sequel will see developers 505 Games hem the project again.
Remedy has not revealed too many details about the sequel, formerly known as “Codename Heron”.
However, the studio did make the following comments on its website;
“With Control, we leaped into the unknown. We wanted to create something new. Something different and unexpected. A world like no other. Thank you, the audience, for making Control such a success for us.
With Control 2, we’ll take another leap into the unknown. It’ll be an unexpected journey. It’ll take a while, but to put it mildly, this is the most exciting project I’ve ever worked on. It’s still early days, but it will be worth the wait”.

The original Control and its subsequent DLC expansions were nominated for 11 BAFTA Games Awards, alongside winning over 20 GOTY awards.
ABG‘s head honcho, Darren Colley, has noted how it is “the best superhero game where you don’t play as a superhero”.
Whilst he isn’t known for his good taste, this time around, he’s right on the money.
