Red Dead Redemption Outlaws Rumour Might Be Fake After All

Don’t saddle up your horses just yet.

What would the gaming industry be without its a fair share of unsubstantiated rumours and leaks? This latest rumour is in regards to Rockstar’s cowboy-opera Red Dead Redemption 2. The rumour states that an enhanced version of both Red Dead Redemption and the sequel is in the works and due to release as a bundle for the new generation. The bundle would have been called Red Dead Redemption The Outlaws Collection.

Red Dead Dreams

However, it seems as if this rumour is fake. The rumour started with an ostensible picture pulled from Amazon. Although, some internet detectives claim that both the pic and the rumour is a blatant fake, with the most outstanding proof being that there is no link provided, leading to a live page.

A Lot Of Backlashes

A leaker on both Twitter and Reddit said that:

“Red Dead Redemption The Outlaws Collection listing has leaked on Amazon, and it includes RDR [Remake] and enhanced version of RDR2,”

However, a bunch of commenters lashed out and disputed those claims saying that the image was little more than a photoshopped HTML. One Smooth Operator on Twitter stated that “unless there’s a link to prove its real, this is absolutely fake.” Many others pointed out the inconsistencies with the games’ artwork, like the different fonts and poor Photoshop work. The December 31 release date seems fishy as well.
