Project xCloud Coming to Xbox Game Pass

Xbox has announced the Project xCloud will be available as part of the Game Pass later this year. The news comes as part of a wider announcement detailing the future for Xbox users.

Starting in September, the xCloud service will be integrated into the Game Pass system.

Furthermore, this comes at no additional cost to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

The Xbox Wire post also denoted how players will be the central part of Xbox’s plans for next-gen.

As Xbox elaborated, gamers will not be forced into next-gen. Additionally, all non-Kinect Xbox games will be available to play at launch.

As for xCloud;- currently, the streaming service is available only through invitation. The service is in “Preview” mode (beta) and is free to use presuming you have all the necessary requirements to use it. (Those requirements include; a suitable smartphone device, Wireless Xbox One controller with Bluetooth, and the Xbox Game Streaming App.

There’s currently around 50 games available on xCloud, all of which are available at no additional cost.
