On Wednesday, August 31st, Adam Michel (Director of Content Acquisitions & Operations for Sony Interactive Entertainment) revealed the games available for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of September (2022). These games will be available for PS Plus members from Tuesday, September 6th until Monday, October 3rd.

Need For Speed Heat – PS4
First up for the month of September, we have NFS Heat, the 2019 iteration of the long-standing racing franchise from Electronic Arts. Commemorating the 25th anniversary of the franchise, Heat was relatively well received, with some pushback on police difficulty implementation. But it’s free this month, so you tell us!
Granblue Fantasy: Versus – PS4
Next, we have Granblue Fantasy: Versus, a 2.5D fighting game from Arc System Works and Cygames. Decently well received, this title expands the Granblue universe and won a nomination for Best Fighting Game at The Game Awards.
Toem – PS5
Lastly for September’s PlayStation Plus games, we have Toem, developed by Something We Made. Toem is a photography-based adventure game – and one of the few at that. It’s all hand drawn for that extra personal touch, with some thrown-in puzzle elements to enjoy! Or not, if that’s not your thing – we don’t judge.
And that’s a wrap for this month’s three PlayStation Plus games for September folks. What are your thoughts on these picks? Remember to pick up last month’s picks by September 5th.
Until next time, stay classy.
