On Wednesday April 28th, Adam Michel (Senior Manager of Game Services Content for Sony Interactive Entertainment) revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of May. These games will be available for PS Plus members from Tuesday May 4th, until Monday May 31st. They are as follows:
Wreckfest – PS5
Up first for the month of May we have Wreckfest‘s PS5 upgrade developed by Bugbear Entertainment and published by THQ Nordic. Enjoy this adrenaline packed demolition-styled racing game free and let us know if you think it earned 8-9/10’s
Battlefield V – PS4
Next up, we have EA’s latest installment in the monster franchise: Battlefield V. While controversial upon release, BFV is undoubtedly a step further for the Frostbite Engine, offering massively open battles and engaging shooting mechanics. Hopefully, this holds us over until 6 arrives…
Stranded Deep – PS4
Finally, for May, Sony brings us Stranded Deep; a castaway-ish, Green Hell-ish first-person survival game. Developed and published by Beam Team Games, Stranded Deep offers procedurally generated survival mechanics with all the usual crafting systems and such.
That’s all we’ve got for this month’s PlayStation Plus games folks. Last month’s Oddworld: Soulstorm, Days Gone, and Zombie Army 4: Dead War will be available to grab until Monday, May 3rd, 2021.
