PlayStation Plus March 2021 Games Announced

On Friday, February 26th, 2020 Adam Michel (Senior Manager of Game Services Content for Sony Interactive Entertainment) revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of March. These games will be available for PS Plus members from Tuesday, March 2nd, until Monday April 5, 2021. They are as follows:

Final Fantasy VII Remake – PS4

Hot off the back of the free PS5 upgrade announcement, this is an absolute must-have for PlayStation owners. Relish in the highly anticipated and warmly received remake of one of the greatest RPGs ever created. Developed and published by Square Enix, here’s an excellent grab to start off the month.

Remnant: From The Ashes – PS4

Proceeding Final Fantasy VII, we have Remnant, developed by Gunfire Games and published in association with Perfect World Games. From The Ashes aimed to blend hardcore souls-like mechanics with over the shoulder 3rd person gameplay. Rather satisfyingly I might add, with a touch of procedural generation as the cherry on top. Not too bad, in my experience.

Farpoint – PSVR

Lastly, on PS4 We have the Virtual Reality title Farpoint. Far point, to many, is a visual dream come true, presenting players with an immersive first person sci-fi experience. While not necessarily on Half-Life: Alyx’s level, it’s worth checking out for those with VR hardware. Especially for free!
