PlayStation Plus April 2021 Games Announced

On Wednesday, March 31st, Adam Michel (Senior Manager of Game Services Content for Sony Interactive Entertainment) revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of April. These games will be available for PS Plus members from Tuesday, April 6th, until Monday, May 3rd. They are as follows:

Oddworld: Soulstorm – PS5

Kicking off this months games, startlingly, we have another launch day title up for free with Oddworld: Soulstorm. As it’s not out yet, we don’t know much about it besides it being the sequel to 2015’s Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee, and a 2.5D sidescroller. But we can’t wait to try it on the 6th, let us know your thoughts! It’s developed by Oddworld Inhabitants and published by Microïds.

Days Gone – PS4

Next up, we have an essential PlayStation exclusive: Days Gone. We’ve spoken previously about how we think this title was one of PlayStation’s most overlooked new franchises. And now, you can get your hands on it and let us know for yourself. Days Gone is a single-player third-person open-world zombie survival game developed by Bend Studio and published by Sony.

Lastly, for the month of April, PlayStation presents the fourth entry in the Zombie Army franchise, Dead War, developed by Rebellion Developments in association with Game Source Entertainment for publishing. Here’s another third-person zombie shooter, though this one has leniency for cooperative gameplay and multiplayer suites. Although it can be played alone, this title is best experienced with friends.
