PlayStation has announced that their Play At Home Initiative will offer players TEN free games from the 25th March. So let’s take a look!
By the way you do not need a PS Plus Subscription to download these games!
Ratchet & Clank (PS4)
The 2016 hit from Insomniac Games kicks off the Play At Home Initiative and is available now until 31st March
Abzû (PS4)
Developed by Giant Squid and published by 505 Games back in 2016, Abzû is an underwater adventure game that immerses the players in beautiful underwater surroundings
Enter the Gungeon (PS4)
The bullet-hell dungeon crawler, developed by Dodge Roll and published by Devolver Digital makes you fight through a series of dungeons to get the ultimate treasure… a gun that kills the past. How you get to it is up to you.
Subnautica (PS4)
The open world survival game, developed by Unknown Worlds Entertainment was met with critical acclaim when it first hit early access. Just remember… not everything in the ocean is set on helping you.
The Witness (PS4)
Developed by Jonathan Blow, the 2016 puzzle game has dozens of locations to explore and over 500 puzzles to solve. This will keep occupied for those long lockdown nights.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission (VR)
The 2018 sleeper hit from Asobi Team and Sony, the VR platformer gives you control of Astro in an adventure to save his crew. Just make sure you judge each jump correctly!
Moss (VR)
Released by Polyarc back in 2018, Moss is a VR action-adventure puzzle game in which the titular character Quill is actually aware that you are there. Help Quill save the kingdom and rescue her uncle.
Thumper (PS4 with VR Support)
The critically acclaimed rhythm game from developer Drool will test your reflexes to the max as you go through rhythm hell to reach the end goal. Its got a fantastic soundtrack too!
Rez Infinite (PS4 with VR Support)
Released by Enhance Games in 2016, the rhythm- action game has been remastered and upgraded by the original team exclusively for PS4 and comes with optional VR support.
Paper Beast (PS4 with VR Support)
Paper beast is a puzzle-adventure game from developer Pixel Reef, that was released just last year. Explore a world inhabited by creatures made from lost internet Data while you overcome obstacles and puzzles by manipulating the landscape around you.
All of these games are available free of charge for all players from the 25th March until the 23rd April.
But that’s not all!
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (PS4)
The 2017 smash hit developed by Guerrilla Games, the open-world RPG will be available to download from 19th April to 14th May. The Complete Edition comes with its DLC ‘The Frozen Wilds’.
