After a quiet period developer Platinum Games have given an update on their new IP Babylon’s Fall.
As you can see in the tweet below Platinum have confirmed that the team are progressing whilst working from home.
Which is good to hear and hopefully they’ll be able to share more about Babylon’s Fall this summer, though nothing is promised.
While this doesn’t give any details about the game itself, at least we know it’s still being worked on, unlike previously cancelled projects from Platinum and Square Enix, Scalebound and Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
2 Years and Counting
Babylon’s Fall was initial announced in 2018 with a projected release of 2019, though 2019 did bring a new trailer it didn’t bring the release of the game.
As the trailer shows Babylon’s Fall will be as action packed as any Platinum title, though it’ll be great to see some more story and combat details to fully form what the game involves, bar beating things to a pulp.
I for one can’t wait to see what the hell is actually happening in the teaser below!
We Know Pretty Much Nothing
At this point essentially nothing is know about the games story, as even the official website lists no details.
I guess at this point we just have to watch the trailers frame by frame and glean what we can.
Babylon’s Fall is scheduled to release for PlayStation 4 and PC at an unspecified point in time.
