“Welcome on board”

People Can Fly [PCF] has recently acquired Phosphor Games, according to a press statement.

This marks PCF seventh studio acquisition.

Going forward, “People Can Fly Chicago” is the new studio name for Phosphor Games.

As the press statement notes, Justin Corcoran, PCF Chicago CEO, is “excited to be joining PCF to open a brand new AAA studio. Our goal is to strengthen PCF’s presence in the US and help build PCF as a global brand”.

Meanwhile, Sebastian Wojciechowski, PCF CEO, stated;

“Taking over the Phosphor Games’ team is simply an execution of our strategy, announced during PCF Group’s recent IPO. With the variety of on-going projects, we need well-seasoned, ambitious professionals to bring our plans to fruition. Considering Phosphor’s team experience and quality I’m sure they will be a great addition to the PCF family and will facilitate our growth”.

Phosphor Games developed The Brookhaven Experiment, Gemini: Heroes Reborn, and Nether: Resurrected, along with several popular mobile games. PCF developed Bulletstorm and Outriders. And, according to its press statement, is currently working on two new AAA projects. One of these games is an upcoming game for Square Enix.
