For those of you unfamiliar with the culinary co-op catastrophes that happen with Overcooked, I encourage you to remedy that. Thankfully Team 17 announced earlier today that Overcooked: All-you-can-eat will be coming to PS5 and Xbox One Series X. However, it does look like this will be a next-gen only edition, with no mention of PS4, Switch or Xbox One.
Although not a brand new game (that a lot of us gaming chefs would love!). It is instead a digital and physical re-release of both games. It will contain all DLCs for the two titles and some new levels as well. All-you-can-eat also features Overcooked levels rebuild in the Overcooked 2 engine.
Technical improvements also include faster load times, 60 FPD, and 4k support. Finally, it will now support cross-platform multiplayer. For anyone who hasn’t played it Overcooked, this is the best opportunity to play. Its inclusion of cross-platform play is something I am hoping will be a more common feature in the coming generation. And I look forward to setting more kitchens on fire in a few months.
