Nobody likes waiting. Especially when you’re sitting on your suitcases and no amount of coffee or Netflix is enough to keep you sane. Airports are a magical place, aren’t they?
Well, Nintendo has decided to rekindle our feeling of adventure. From 13th February until 29th March, travellers in major US airports will be able to pass the time with their favourite Nintendo games.

“Nintendo Switch On The Go” are pop-up airport lounges. People will have a chance to play Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles whilst they wait.
Available in both handheld and TV mode, consoles offer games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, Tetris 99 and more.

But It’s Not Just About the Gameplay Experience
If you feel like carrying on playing, there will be a chance to order a Nintendo Switch or Switch Lite. You can even receive a complimentary case with your order. You can also buy from a selection of games and merch.
For those who are not in the spending mood, just for visiting, everyone gets a branded luggage handle wrap and a $10 coupon from Target to use for a Nintendo purchase later.

17 February – 29th March
Dulles International Airport – Washington, D.C., Concourse B near west entrance/exit, next to Gate B62
Seattle – Tacoma International Airport – Seattle, WA, Concourse C, next to Gate C10
O’Hare International Airport – Chicago, IL, Terminal 1, Concourse B, between Gates B12 and B14
13th February – 26th March
Dallas Love Field Airport – Dallas, TX, West Terminal, near Gates 14 and 16
So, if you are planning to travel through one of those airports, make sure you don’t waste your time staring at the information screens. Instead, lose yourself in the fields of Hyrule or race your travelling companions in Mario Kart.
