Norman Reedus, Hideo Kojima Talk Death Stranding Sequel

Last week, Norman Reedus let slip that he and the team at Kojima Productions had started working on a sequel to Death Stranding.

Reedus, who plays Sam Porter Bridges in the series, spoke to Leo about all things Norman Reedus – including the aforementioned game.

[Okay, so you got the book going on, you’ve got the final season [of The Walking Dead] coming out, then the spinoff, and you’re filming Death Stranding, the video game“.]

“We just started the second one”.

Which, when you consider how integral to the series Reedus is, pretty much confirms a sequel is in tow.

However, to further fan the flames, Hideo Kojima himself has seemingly responded to Reedus.

Kojima recently tweeted the following;

“Go to your private room, my friend”.

For the uninitiated, a “private room” in this context is a space wherein a person – namely Porter Bridges – can recover from their journeys.

The accompanying images of Kojima holding a barred-wire wrapped baseball bat [hello, Lucille, I missed you] and posing with Reedus only further show the pair’s friendship. Or Kojima’s want to cave Reedus’ head in following his supposed leak?

Either way, really.

Granted, this is as much as we have to go off that a sequel to Death Stranding is in production. Kojima has not yet confirmed it. However, this isn’t the first time Reedus has spoken about a prospective sequel.

As always, watch this space.
