Multiple sources have reported that Nintendo plans to re-release several titles from the Mario back catalogue on the Switch this year.
Among these supposed remastered titles is fan favourite Super Mario 64, first released on the Nintendo 64 in 1997.
Also, my personal favourite Super Mario Sunshine from the Gamecube era circa 2002 and the Wii hit Super Mario Galaxy from 2007.
Why is Sunshine my favourite? I like things clean okay, don’t judge me.

More Titles On The Way?
Other alleged titles in line to be remastered are a new game in the Paper Mario series and an enhanced version of Super Mario 3D World released in 2013.
With the big reveal supposed to happen at E3 2020, Nintendo has had to reassess how they will deliver their announcements in regard to the Super Mario 35th Anniversary.
Though due to the current COVID-19 pandemic Nintendo is looking to keep people updated as much as possible in different ways.
Only last week they released a Nintendo Direct Mini that was chock full of information about future game releases and DLC.
But unfortunately, Nintendo will not be attending future game events for the foreseeable future.
Meanwhile, Nintendo of America has been putting their efforts to good use in this pandemic by making equipment donations in the state of Washington.
