Ninja Theory has recently announced that it is dropping development on team-based multiplayer title, Bleeding Edge.
For context, Bleeding Edge was only released in March 2020!
“With the studio now focusing on our new projects [Senua’s Saga, Project Mara, & The Insight Project] we have decided that there will be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge. The game is still playable on Xbox and PC”.
For anyone who has been following Bleeding Edge, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. The updates have been few and far between, with the last major one coming last July. And, if you care about such things, SteamCharts shows that the game’s concurrent players have barely hit 30. That’s not 30 thousand, but thirty.
As Ninja Theory noted, the studio is hard-at-work on its other titles, including Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II.
