Saints Row is making a welcome return next year with a brand new ‘soft’ reboot.
Unveiled on the opening night of Gamescon 2021, the new game simply entitled ‘Saints Row’ takes place in the American southwest in the fictional city of Santo Ileso and will feature all the open-world hijinks we’ve come to know and love from the series. Check out the trailer below!
Like previous entries in the franchise, the game will be completely open-world in one of the largest maps the series has ever seen.
With bright neon lights and wacky weapons, you’ll join the criminal gang known as ‘The Saints’ playing as ‘The Boss’ as you rise to become the criminal overlords of Santo Ileso, by taking on the other three gangs: Los Panteros, The Idols and Marshall.

You’ll also be able to have friends drop in and out thanks to the co-op mechanic, so you’ll be able to take over the city together…. or just to blow stuff up.
Saints Row is due to be released in February 2022 on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S with pre-order live right now.
