Set for April 30th 2021, New Pokémon Snap promises 200+ Pokémon for players to snap in the new Lental Region.

Under the guidance of Professor Mirror and his assistant Rita, players will be tasked with snapping every ‘mon in sight, much like the beloved 1999 N64 original, whilst investigating a mysterious glow that has enveloped the vegetation and some of the Pokémon in the region.

Surf’s Up!

Using the ‘Rail system’ from the previous game, you’ll traverse the entire region of Lental as you try to fill up your Photodex with pictures of every Pokémon you encounter, all while trying to get that perfect shot. Thankfully Professor Mirror will be on hand to help you with composition to get that perfect snap (remember the rule of thirds!).

As you travel in your Neo-One, you’ll be able to use Fluffruit to entice Pokémon into facing you and maybe even cause a different reaction.

2021 is going to be a big year for Pokémon, as it celebrates its 25th anniversary, so there will be plenty of exciting things in the pipeline, which also includes a song Katy Perry is writing about the franchise… yes really!

New Pokémon Snap is available to pre-order for the Nintendo Switch now from the Nintendo E-Store priced at £49.99 with physical editions out on April 30th.
