During the climax of the Dragon Ball Fighterz World Tour this past weekend, Bandai Namco officially announced a brand new action RPG game with the current title of Dragon Ball Game – Project Z.
While not much has been confirmed so far, the game to be in development by CyberConnect2 (best known for work on the Naruto: Ultimate games & Asura’s Wrath.) It is set to be a re-telling of the events that occurred within the Dragon Ball Z saga and the teaser shown below shows off a taste of some iconic locations and scenes from the anime. There was also a handful of characters confirmed to show up such as Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta & Frieza dishing out punishment or being pummelled into submission.
Dragon Ball Game – Project Z has an estimate release date of 2019 and will be set to launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. So, that should give Goku enough time to charge up to Super Saiyan mode in cryostasis and throw that ultimate Kamehameha attack upon release then.
