Neil Druckmann Wraps up Last of Us TV Shoots

It appears that filming of The Last of Us TV series could be wrapping up filming soon.

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann recently tweeted out that he’s finished in Canada, where the series is being filmed.

“Alas… my time in Canada has come to an end. To the best TV crew in the world, thank you for your incredible work, your passion, ad for making me feel so welcome! I will miss you terribly!”

Obviously, just because Druckmann is finished on set doesn’t mean the whole series is finished. However, Druckmann helped co-write and served as a director on several episodes.

The Last of Us series boasted a reported “eight figures” being spent on it per episode. That shouldn’t be too outside the realms of possibility – or outside of any sort of precedence – as HBO is airing it. It stars Pedro Pascal as Joel and Bella Ramsey as Ellie.

We don’t have any idea on when the series will premiere, but we are interested in seeing how it compares to the game. We will have more information on the series as and when it becomes available.
