Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit races back in November

EA has FINALLY confirmed what we already knew in August… Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is being remastered and coming back to consoles next month.

Unveiled via Youtube, the remaster promises all DLC already unlocked and cross-play, so you can finally race your friends on the opposite console and gain ultimate bragging rights.

EA also confirmed the return of ‘Autolog’, the in-game social network where you can challenge other racers and keep an eye on your friends best times… and if they need beating.

NFS: HPR will support 4K 60fps gameplay on PC, with Xbox One X and PS4 Pro supporting either 4K 30fps or 1080p 60fps resolution.

Xbox One and PS4 consoles will run it at 1080p/30fps, as will the Nintendo Switch in docked mode and 720p/30fps undocked.

West Mercia Police this is not

First released way back in 2010, the remaster features updated graphics for today’s current generation of consoles, with EA promising an update to fully customize your cars wrap (that means adding logos, pictures and colours to your original car to the none car-savvy you and me).

EA has also released a list of which cars you’ll be able to get behind the wheel of and it reads like a petrol-heads wet dream. You can check it out here.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on November 6th with the Nintendo Switch version being released November 13th.

Remember… the brake pedal is just for show.
