For anyone who has played it, you’ll likely already know how popular Capcom’s Monster Hunter World is. As reported by Eurogamer, Monster Hunter World is, to date, Capcom’s best-selling game ever.
However, the news for Capcom just keeps getting better. The Iceborne expansion has now shipped over four million units worldwide. This brings MHW‘s overall sales figure from 7.9 million (as of May 2018) to 15 million as of January 2020.
Releasing on consoles back in September, and early January on PC, the expansion is the perfect post-game content for MHW‘s best.
This is despite some unfortunate players facing game-breaking problems on PC. The problems – as reported by several Reddit and Steam users – include save-files being erased upon Iceborne‘s installation. Hopefully, these problems will be rectified shortly.
