Microsoft announces Xbox Series X Showcase

Microsoft has announced the date when it will showcase new games from its own studios.

A live streaming event will take place on the 23rd of July at 9am PST (4pm GMT) and promises gamers a first look at games due to arrive on the Xbox Series X.

Already confirmed via Twitter for the event is the upcoming Halo Infinite. Rumors point to a first look at the game-play of Master Chiefs’ next adventure.

This will be players first look at studio games developed by Microsoft after May’s lackluster Inside Xbox event for third party developers. More events are to follow in the Xbox 20/20 series.

This is Microsoft’s chance to convince gamers of the Xbox Series X’s potential and attract fence-sitters who aren’t sure which console to go for.
