Mark of the Ninja: Remastered will be out on October 9th

Its been six years since the 2D stealth murder game Mark of the Ninja was released, and the game still holds up to this day. But, after such a long life, Klei announced in March that a remastered version was in development and would be out later this year. We now have a trailer for the remastered edition and a release date of October 9th.

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered will feature the Dosan’s Tale DLC that came with the 2013 Special Edition of the game. It brings a new character, level, items, and developer commentary. The graphics have also had a nice upgrade to 4k resolution, the soundtrack has been mixed and remastered in 5.1 audio, and there is even a New Game+ mode with “new challenges and rewards.”

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered will go for $20 on Steam, though if you pre-purchase, you’ll receive a 15 percent discount. If you already own the original game, you can upgrade to the Remastered version for $5, and if you own the special edition, the Remastered upgrade is free. The game will also be available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One on the same date.
