Maquette – Things May Not Be As They First Appear

Maquette – Things May Not Be As They First Appear

New developers on the block, Graceful Decay will be releasing through publishers AnnaPurna Interactive, Maquette. It is a first -person recursive puzzle game. Maquette takes you into a world where every building, plant, and object are simultaneously tiny and staggeringly huge. How is this possible? By twisting the world into itself recursively in an MC Escher-esque fashion.

Allow me to try and explain. As you head to the centre of the world, you’ll feel like a giant, towering over buildings and walls. But as you venture further out, you will start to feel small as things get larger and larger – to the point where cracks in the ground become chasms.

In Maquette, you will explore the scales of everyday problems in a modern-day love story. Bryce Dallas Howard and Seth Gabel. are the familiar voices that you will hear in the game. It is a game where sometimes the smallest of issues can become insurmountable obstacles. You are encouraged to navigate the couple’s memories and find out what went right and wrong as you travel through a San Fransisco-inspired city.

Maquette will be released on the 2nd March and will be available on PC & Playstation.
