Many Big Studios Missing From This Year’s E3-Week

Summer is on its way and one of the best weeks of the year is upon us. It’s officially E3-week, even though E3 is technically cancelled again, this year. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t get to enjoy a week’s worth of gaming, after all.

Sony kicked off the gaming summer last week with the State of Play stream. The week ends on June 12th but there is a multitude of events between here and there. Geoff Keighley’s Summer Fest starts on June 9th and PC Gamercaps the week off with its own event: The PC Gaming Show. Xbox and Bethesda will be making an appearance as well, among others.

One Studio that is notably missing is the french gaming giant Ubisoft. Axios reached out to Ubisoft telling us that we shouldn’t expect a showcase this summer and that it is instead coming “later this year”. Other notable companies missing from the roster are Nintendo and EA.
