Mafia’s Twitter Account Comes Back to Life

What is the Mafia Twitter account building towards? The account has been all but dead since 2018. And now, all of a sudden, “Family” and “Power”. Hmm…

Mafia III‘s Twitter account has been dead in the waters for almost two years.

The last time the account posted anything was back in August 2018; and this was to tell followers that the game was being included in the PlayStation Plus package.

Since then, silence.

Until now, that is.

The account randomly tweeted out the phrase “Family“. This was followed up by a tweet reading “Power“. If the trend continues, maybe it will lead to some news from 2K.

Back in 2019, PC Gamer noted that Take-Two applied for trademarks involving the Mafia series. This combined with these mysterious tweets has lead the internet to think remasters could be on the cards.

However, with nothing more than “Family”, “Power”, and whatever the next innocuous word is, we don’t have much to go on at this point.

Still, when (or even, if) this develops, we’ll be sure to catch you up to speed.
