Little Nightmares II was first announced at Gamescom, last year. However, since then it’s been relatively quiet from the developers, Tarsier Studios. But fans Little Nightmares can finally rejoice since we have a confirmed release date and a creepy new gameplay-trailer.
The trailer shows off some of Little Nightmares’s II—well—nightmares. You can expect creepy piano playing dolls, hidden bear-traps and cousin It-style severed hands, stalking you across the levels. But the nightmares don’t stop there. Every horror imaginable will try to stop you from reaching the Black Tower.
Little Nightmares II will also feature a new playable character. Mono, who covers his face with a brown paper bag, is a boy who is “trapped in a world distorted by the humming transmission of a distant Signal Tower.” You can see Mono working alongside Six, the protagonist from the first game. However, Bandai Namco has already confirmed that Six is only a computer-controlled character. Thus it seems like Little Nightmares II is going to be a single-player experience.
Little Nightmares II comes out on February 11.
